“I Used to be Able to Bench 240lbs, but Then I Got the COVID Vaccine” — Anti-Vaxxer Harasses Innocent Teenagers

Tensions were high at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Center on Saturday afternoon as several high school Model UN delegates were met with aggressive protesters.

It was a busy morning in the hotel and three EU delegates had just braved the gruelling elevators and emerged into the lobby. The delegates were on lunch break and were sitting around discussing possible munch locations, dissecting the scopes of their morning debates. Suddenly, they noticed an odd-looking man, someone they described as white and older looking (around 50 years old), descending the escalators with a deep scowl situated on his face.

Without forewarning, the man lunged at the delegates at full speed and began to hurl profanities at the innocent delegates. “You all are traitors to your country!” the man screamed in an accusatory tone at the startled and confused delegates. His voice reverberated through the lobby causing multiple heads to turn in his direction. “F**k you all! You’re all a bunch of commies,” he yelled one last time before leaving the building.

As he left, the lobby cohesively exhaled, they thought it was over, but the old man returned for one last lick. “Trump 2024!” he screamed into the lobby from where he was stationed between the open door and he was gone.

Initially, the popular sentiment was that the protestors were anti-MUN; however, as more investigation ensued, it was discovered that they were in truth, far-right extremists who were attending an anti-vax protest. This was confirmed as an eye-witness stated that one of the protestors could be heard saying “I used to be able to bench 240 pounds, but then I got the COVID vaccine and now I can’t anymore.”

It was after the incident that the delegates were informed that the man was part of an anti-vax protest group that had wandered into the hotel from downtown. The incident caused turmoil among the delegates, with some enthusiastic to know more and some worried about their safety. Nevertheless, the same whispers could be heard all along the hallways: “Did you hear about the extremists.”
