Where the Pyramids really to Heavy for the UK to Steal? Stolen Artifacts Should Not Be Returned – According to Brazil

(CNN) – After a heated discussion in SPECPOL with Italy, saying “The only reason you did not take the pyramids was because they were too heavy for you to take,” to the United Kingdom, CNN was able to interview the delegation of Brazil.

Brazil started off by stating, “Delegates are focused on returning artifacts, which is dumb we have more important things to do then return them,” going on to explain that colonialism and its effects are a bigger problem plaguing our world rather than artifacts that sit in a museum.

“[Artifacts] are in museums, which are sanctuaries of history, and are safer there,” is what Brazil had to say when asked why the argument over artifacts seems insignificant to them. Brazil further elaborated: “It is better if they are in European famous or prestigious museums since more people will see the artifacts.”

Brazil believes when more people see these artifacts, they will learn the history behind them, which is colonialism. Brazil then said that by learning about colonialism, people would be aware of its ugly history and that this would work better in larger museums than in smaller museums or countries like Nigeria.

Brazil was also frustrated that “Delegates are very focused on electing the people they represent in their home countries, and although they are saying nice words [to win elections in their respective countries], they are not taking any action against the real issue.”

The delegation further said, “Delegates in SPECPOL are doing easy stuff but when it comes to hard work they back out.”

Brazil suggests delegates stop thinking of winning their leaders elections back home and focus on the issues of colonialism and reiterates that artifacts are insignificant.

Brazil was not pleased with the reaction and facial expressions of other delegates during Brazil’s speech, especially the United Kingdom.

“Delegates do not want to hear the truth, they live in a fantasy world” is the reply Brazil gave CNN for their behaviour.

South Africa is strongly pushing for a shorter timeline for returning the artifacts from major museums and major institutions but Brazil’s reply was, “not to listen to them” stating “they are dumb dumbs.”

Brazil and Greece further expressed their frustrations saying, “Delegates are repeatedly motioning for unmoderated caucuses to ‘yap’ rather than focus on the issue at hand.”
