IPC: Overtaken? Raided? We really do not know.

Cheeky Greenpeace delegates invading the International Press Corps (IPC) sanctuary

It was a calm day. Committees were in session, and International Press Corps (IPC) delegates were running merrily writing articles until their fingers fell off. The IPC dais sat and conversed, their fingers typing away furiously as they edited essay after essay. And suddenly, the loudest, most agitating noise came from beyond the corridor. Who was it? They all looked up to see the Greenpeace committee, ransacking their quiet chambers with their loud, LOUD bloc making.

As the delegates conversed, the IPC dais sighed in despair. First, they were robbed of a room. And now, they were being robbed of their safe haven: the corridor behind Parksville. With “West Coast” by musical artist Lana Del Rey blasting into the IPC Chair’s ears, she turned up the volume and tried to focus on furiously editing the Associated Press’ report on Darius Zachly: Beneath the Surface of Power and Deception.

The debate continued. She continued to type furiously, with every click-clack of her keyboard getting more, and more aggressive. And suddenly, it stopped. Delegates from Greenpeace suddenly flocked away, as their chair called them back to the committee room. The IPC dais was saved from further interruptions… for now.
