In the Extempore Crisis Committee, delegates are working to solve an urgent crisis. Many creative ideas are being proposed, some more realistic than other. Some delegates favor using elephants to create a royal army, while others are opposed for financial reasons. In hopes of defeating the NPC’s, they are planning to unite all the farmers and workers from across the Harappa Lands to increase their resources. There seems to be a general consensus across the committee room that they must launch an offensive to defeat the NPC’s. Plans for a festival are in the works to improve morale in the cities.
Delegates are also forging a police force to help defend their cities. This force would act as an authority figure and would be hired from local to communities to help better communication and trust. However, there are delegates who are opposed to this police force, as they are worried that it will be too much power to the government. The organisers of this force are currently responding to questions to hopefully sway the committee in their favor: “The maximum amount of police will always be less than the military present in that city.”
An optimistic delegate hopes to establish a police force to reduced inter-city crimes: “Your hypocrisy is alarming.” One very passionate delegate is heavily against forming this police force. Overall, the Extempore Crisis Committee can not seem to decide on how to proceed to defeat the NPC’s. At approximately 10:56am, the directive for the police force fails by one vote. Delegates are frustrated that no one is working together to defeat their common enemy.
