Morning, noon or midnight crisis, whenever it is its always the most looked forward to part of the conference.
April 6th, 2025 on the third and final day of the CAHSMUN conference the morning started with the organized chaos of committee crisis. How far will the Diases go with their creative freedom?
As of 9:12 am committees are now an hour into their session and sure enough we have already witnessed tragedy. In the DISEC committee two delegates, representing Russia and the U.S.A, were shot in the back after revealing that they had lied to their fellow delegates. Despite both shots failing to hit the delegates the countries have lost the ability to speak to anyone in their vicinity.
DISEC delegates have also uncovered the news that North Korea, who had been threatening to nuke several countries, is working with aliens. One of which is hidden among the delegates.
As DISEC continues to debate the rights of aliens and how best to exploit them, next door the World Health Organization (WHO) deals with yet another pandemic. Despite their efforts to study the virus they are repeatedly foiled by a mysterious organization that seems to target Canada’s vaccines and samples.
The United Nation Office on Drugs and Crimes deals with a similar problem with a pandemic of a highly addictive drug spreading fast throughout Mexico and neighboring countries. Despite having little to nothing for information the most popular proposal has been to buy black market drugs to have complete control of the drugs.
As the morning crisis continues both delegates and diases find creative ways to mess with each other, and IPC journalists seem very excited to see where it goes.
