What might seem like a time of celebration after North Vietnam claims multiple cities along its border with the South, the nations officials scramble to put together a plan for what to do next. Talks of spreading propaganda and misinformation run wild in the conference room while the issue of a food shortage looms in the background. As seen in the video above, the pandemonium has resulted in disrespect and unhelpful arguing between delegates, destroying what little lead the country has just gained. Politician Le Duan, while in the middle of suggesting ideas to solve this hunger crisis was interrupted by a fellow delegate, leading to him losing both time and his train of thought; who knows what he may have had to say, it could’ve even been the perfect solution. Opposite to the chaos in Vietnam, America remains calm and composed even in the face of a major military loss, demonstrating to the world how a successful, developed nation handles itself in times of crisis.

Among the solutions that managed to get proposed by the North Vietnamese was the idea of a Marxist system to be implemented to fix the food shortage. This proposition comes from Truong Chinh, the Secretary General of the Communist Party and a man who has clearly never been exposed to the wonders of the capitalist world. It is clear from the existence of a food shortage that the left wing economic policies implemented by the Communist Party are ineffective and that the only real solution isn’t a move further to the left but rather a complete switch up to a free market, capitalist system, like the one guiding America to victory. Looking towards Vietnams western enemy, it is clear how much more beneficial capitalism is as despite their wartime loses, America has never been better while Vietnam continues to get worse and worse off in light of their wins. If this war isn’t proof enough that all nations should grow to become capitalist economies, than nothing ever will. Capitalism offers so much more to the common citizen and comes without the forced labor we see in the USSR, famine we see in Vietnam, and general corruption that tends to follow a communist country.

While they may have faced minor set backs in the war, it clear simply from the economic and political beliefs of the nations fighting that America will always be the true winner, at least until Vietnam finally decides to make the switch to the vastly superior capitalism.
