New developments have been made as the CCP is now allied with the Soviet Union.
Working together by exchanging and allocating resources, the Soviet Union and the CCP are looking forward in further negotiation with the KMT in order to defeat the Japanese who are attempting to invade Shanghai. Seeing as the Japanese plan to expand in their conquest, He Long, Marshal of the People’s Republic of China and Zhu De, and Chinese General and Military Strategist, began the creation of the new specialized Red Army.
He Long describing this specialized army as “more aggressive and specialized for combat against any enemy.” With hopes in spreading their ideologies throughout China. At the expense of a few forces, the CCP troops were able to bypass the blockade via their escape route and are well on their way to regrouping with the rest of the Red Army.
In this critical moment, it leaves one to wonder who is the threat? Is it the KMT or is it the Japanese? The CPC seem to have a clear answer, for they are ready to set aside the difference they once had with the KMT and unite in order to save their motherland from the callous Japanese forces.
With a steadfast resolve, the CCP along with the Soviet Union hold their heads high, looking to the light at the end of the tunnel.
